As an aggressive player, I have been taught a few valuable lessons while wagering over the decades. Whether you are partial to betting at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the many net casinos. The following are my golden rules of wagering, many of which might be looked at as clear thinking, but if followed they will assist you in going a long way to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule 1: Go to a casino with a predetermined sum that you are willing and can afford to use – How much would you pay for a night out on food, drinks, cover charges and tips? This is an excellent number to use.
Rule 2: Do not carry your debit card out with you – or any other way of getting cash out. Don’t concern yourself about money for the taxi if you throw away all of it; most taxi operators, especially the cabs booked at casinos, will drive you to your abode and are more than happy to wait for the money when you get home.
Rule three: Stick to your set cutoff. I constantly see what I would love to purchase should I succeed. The previous time I went, I determined I’d really would like to purchase a new Video Game system which cost about $400, so that was my upper cap. As soon as I reached this amount, I stopped. Just stop. Even if Mystic Megan herself tells you the next number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and say goodbye. Leave comfortable in the knowledge that you will be proceeding into the city and acquiring a delightful new toy!
Rule 4: Enjoy yourself. When you are "enthusiastic" you will succeed. It is a certainty. I don’t know the reason why, but it clearly is. Once it feels like a commitment, or you are simply gambling to earn money you have lost, you usually will give up more. When you’re winning, having a wonderful time with your friends, or your girlfriend, you will profit even more.
